BBC reported today that a series of car bombs have exploded in Baghdad, Iraq, killing 127 and wounding hundreds more.

Coinciding with talk by the US government of a “troop surge” in Afghanistan, police patrols and the puppet government of Iraq have been attacked in coordinated bombings.

Apparently “Al Qaeda in Iraq” is being blamed.
