Oil rain: BP’s black gold lands on Louisiana

Note: I have no independent confirmation of this but also no reason to doubt it or suspect it’s a hoax.
Obviously some amount of the oil and dispersant/surfactant/detergent chemicals will evaporate and end up as rainfall. How much, and whether this particular oil in the video is due to that, I can’t say for sure, but it is totally plausible that oil could be picked up from the surface by storms, be absorbed by clouds and come back as rain after evaporating or burning on the surface.
