Under industry pressure, Elsevier retracts publication linking GMOs to Cancer

This is classic. It’s the same thing the British Medical Journal did to Dr Andrew Wakefield over his MMR Autism research. Apparently they thought it was good enough to publish before the industry and government people started trying to discredit it though? This pandering behavior casts serious doubt on the integrity of these journals.

The Séralini paper was threatening big agri’s profits, and Elsevier is loyal to the mega corporations like Monsanto and Syngenta so I’m not surprised by this at all. Luckily we saved a copy of it here.
