Ban careless use of antidepressants, not our constitutional rights

From Washington Post

Adam P. Lanza, 20, obscure in life, infamous in death.

A really rambunctious kid, as one former neighbor in Newtown, Conn., recalled him, adding that he was on medication. He was the son of an accountant. A family member told investigators that he had a form of autism, a law enforcement official said.

Anyone surprised by this?  Another FPS gamer forgot to take his Prozac.

One could easily make an argument for gun control out of this- that is to keep your friggin guns away from people who take psychiatric drugs.  But it makes  a more powerful argument to keep people off psychistric meds who don’t really need it.  America is disgustingly over-medicated on anti-depressants.  You can thank big pharma for most of these mass shootings, just like you can thank the mediacal establishment, big agribusiness and chemical industries for giving kids autism via mercury poisoning.

Ultimately, schools need to step up to the plate and be prepared to defend our kids.  The communist ideology that has infected our schools has no place for individual liberty including self-defense. This is going to keep happening (however infrequently) until schools take the necessary steps.
