    He was talking about Iraq, not Afghanistan. All along he said he would escalate Afghanistan and that it’s the war we should be fighting.

    I thought “the war” referred to “the Global War On Terror ™”

    But if you have a link to him promising to extend operations in afghanistan during the campaign, I’d like to see that.

    And I’m very curious why he thinks we “should be fighting” in Afghanistan. Must be cause the terrists’ hit us on 9/11 and everything changed.

    Funny, it doesn’t sound any truer when a democrat says it.

    Besides… we still have troops in BOTH iraq and afghanistan, and now pakistan and iran.
